Nice Flowers

I drew the green flower first intending to use it as a t-shirt design. That was before I found out how much it costs to screen print 4 colours (yeah it’s a lot). Looking at them all together again I have a nagging desire to redraw the green one. Of the four I think it has the weakest petal design. It’s also the only one without a complimentary centre colour.

They were drawn in Illustrator. This was back in the day when Illustrator was still used for drawing instead of all the shit it does these days. Sure I’m bitter, but it’s only because I don’t understand what all the extra palettes are for, plus they kind of clutter up my screen…
